Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Penerimaan Beasiswa Dengan Metode Simple Additing Weigthing (SAW)

With the development of technology that is increasingly fast and makes it easier for human work in various fields, no exception helps in making the best decisions one of which is a Decision Support System. With the existence of a computer-based system is expected to help an organization or company in making technology-based decisions whose results are more accurate than the manual process. One of the implementation of the Decision Support System is in the decision making for the selection of scholarship acceptance at Sijunjung State High School 2 where the previous selection process is still done manually which causes a lot of mistakes so that the resulting decisions are not accurate and effective. For this reason, the writer suggests that a Decision Support System should be built in the selection of scholarship acceptance at SMA 2 Sijujung. In the development of this Decision Support System the author uses the Simple Additing Weigthing (SAW) method where this method is a weighted sum, the basic concept of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is to find the weighted sum of the performance branches in each alternative for all attributes.

Abstrak

Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat dan semakin memudahkan  perkerjaan manusia diberbagai bidang, tidak terkecuali membantu di dalam pengambilan keputusan terbaik salah satunya adalah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan. Dengan adanya Sistem berbasis komputer ini diharapkan dapat membantu suatu organisasi atau perusahaan dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis teknologi yang hasilnya lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan proses manual. Salah satu penerapan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan adalah dalam pengambilan keputusan seleksi penerimaan beasiswa pada SMA Negeri 2 Sijunjung dimana proses penyeleksian sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manualisasi yang banyak menimbulkan kesalahan sehingga keputusan yang dihasilkan tidak akurat dan efektif. Untuk itu penulis menyarankan perlu dibangunnya Sitem Pendukung Keputusan dalam seleksi pemerimaan beasiswa pada SMA Negeri 2 Sijujung. Dalam pembangunan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini  penulis menggunakan metode Simple Additing Weigthing (SAW)  dimana metode ini merupakan penjumlahan terbobot, konsep dasar dari metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) adalah mencari penjumlahaan terbobot dari ranting kinerja pada setiap alternatif pada semua atribut.
