Abstract


Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome that results from any structural or functional impairment of ventricular ï¬lling or ejection of blood. Unhealthy lifestyle can affect heart health that impact on the incidence of re-hospitalization. This study aims to determine the relationship of lifestyle by re-hospitalization incidence of congestive heart failure patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital. The method of this study was retrospektif study.  Samples in this study are patients with congestive heart failure who have re-hospitalization was 30 respondents. The analysis used in this study were univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between lifestyle with re-hospitalization incidence of congestive heart failure patients (p value: 0,004). Recommendation of this research are congestive heart failure patients are expected to implement a better lifestyle and expected room nurse member discharge planning on a better lifestyle and for further research to develop research on factors affecting re-hospitalization

 

Gagal jantung merupakan sindrom klinik komplek yang disebabkan oleh kerusakan struktural ataupun fungsional ventrikel untuk menisci atau memompakan darah. Gaya hidup yang tidak sehat dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan jantung yang akan berakibat kejadian rehospitalisasi meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan gaya hidup dengan kejadian rawat ulang pasien gagal jantung kongestif di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau.Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pasien gagal jantung kongestif yang mengalami rehospitalisasi yang berjumlah 30 responden. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji statistik chi square.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara gaya hidup dengan kejadian rawat ulang pasien gagal jantung kongestif (p value 0,004). Rekomendasi penelitan ini diharapkan pasien gagal jantung kongestif  menerapkan gaya hidup yang lebih baik dan diharapkan perawat ruangan memberikan discharge planning mengenai gaya hidup yang lebih baik dan bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi rawat ulang.
