Focus and Scope

Scope Journal Ipteks Terapan (JIT) is the result of research on applied science and technology and education. The JIT focus on publishing unpublished original research results everywhere, issues published by JIT covering such as:

  1. the research result on applied science and education such as: curriculum development and learning, character education, technology and instructional innovation, and learning evaluation.
  2. the research result on applied science and technolgy suh as: the development of applied technology and applied arts, appropriate technology, designing information systems, 
  3. the research result on applied science and economic development
  4. the research result on applied science and public health.

JIT is a double blind peer reviewed journal, published four (4) times a year by LLDIKTI Wilayah X. JIT is open to academic circles and university researchers, research institutes, librarians, graduate and postgraduate students to share information on research results. JIT is positioned as a forum for academics and practitioners to share scientific information about research results. JIT provides scientific research articles with "open access" to support mutual exchange of Science globally.

Peer Review Process

Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by reviewers (double blind peer reviewed). Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.

Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

 

Publication Frequency

continuing the previous publication at http://ejournal.lldikti10.id/index.php/jit/index, now JIT comes with a new look using the OJS 3 platform. without losing the old journal repository. and article submissions will only be processed if you submit the article at http://publikasi.lldikti10.id/index.php/jit

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

By "open access" to this literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

JIT stores back issues and current articles following LOCKSS idea of keeping lots of copies of our items on several servers to keep them safe, the university's Local Content Collection and all of them are digitally submitted to Indonesian National Library's Indonesia OneSearch and periodically harvested by OCLC WorldCat. Published issues are also sent to LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia) the Indonesian Institute of Sciences to be retained in its repository. JIT also implementing PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PLN) preservation function as can be seen in The Keepers Registry record here.
