Determinan Pemilihan Kelas BPJS Peserta Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional Mandiri

Abstract

Hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan oleh Deputi Direksi Bidang Jaminan Pembiayaan Kesehatan Rujukan BPJS Kesehatan menunjukkan adanya peserta BPJS Kesehatan yang mendaftarkan dirinya di kelas yang tak seusai dengan profil finansialnya. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan kelas BPJS adalah umur, pengetahuan, pendidikan, pendapatan dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor determinan pemilihan kelas BPJS peserta JKN Mandiri di Pelem Kidul, Baturetno, Banguntapan, Bantul. Penelitian dilakukan dengan survei analitik melibatkan 68 peserta JKN Mandiri dan datanya dianalisis menggunakan Chi Square. Kelas BPJS yang dipilih responden pada Kelas III (57,4%), Kelas II (32,4%) dan Kelas I (10,3%). Responden dengan pengetahuan tinggi 48,5% dan rendah 51,5%. Umur responden 31-40 tahun 41,2%, 41-50 tahun 27,9%, >50 tahun 25% dan < 30 tahun 5,9%. Responden dengan pendapatan tinggi 95,6% dan rendah 4,4%. Responden dengan pendidikan SMA 44,1%, PT 23,5%, SMP 17,6%, SD 11,8% dan tidak sekolah 2,9%. Responden dengan jumlah anggota keluarga terbanyak 20,6% dan sedikit 79,4%. Pemilihan kelas BPJS dipengaruhi dengan jumlah anggota keluarga, namun tidak berhubungan dengan umur, pengetahuan, pendidikan dan pendapatan.
