TERAPI THOUGTH STOPPING (TS) UNTUK ANSIETAS MAHASISWA PRAKTIK KLINIK DI RUMAH SAKIT

Abstract
Anxiety are general problem to nursing student when get clinical pratice in the hospital. Anxiety can cause nursing student have lack performance in the clinical area. Aims of this study was to indentify effectifity of Thought Stopping to reduce student anxiety when get clinical practice in the hospital. The design of this study was quasy experiment with control group. There were 37 control group and 37 intervention groups of student. Anxiety was measured using DASS 21. Thought Stopping impelented three sessions. Result : there are significant different of anxiety between control and intevention group  after given TS with p value 0,049 (p value < 0,05). There are 10,703 means different with pre and post test in intervention group. There is significan different with pre and post test in intervention group with p value 0,000 (p value , 0,05). Recomendation : this study can be self therapy to reduce anxiety when get clinical pratice in hospital area.
Ansietas adalah masalah umum yang terjadi pada mahasiswa yang sedang menjalani praktik klinik di rumah sakit. Seringkali ansietas menyebabkan performa praktik mahasiswa menjadi menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan Thought Stopping (TS) untuk mengurangi ansietas mahasiswa keperawatan saat melaksanakan praktik klinik di rumah sakit. Peneltian ini menggunakan design quasy experiment with control group. Terdapat 37 reponden sebagai kelompok kontrol, dan 37 responden sebagai kelompok intervensi. Intervensi TS dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tngkat kecemasan pada kelompok kontrol dan intervensi dengan p value 0,049. Perbedaan nilai mean antara kelompok intervensi sebelum dan setelah diberikan TS adalah 10,703. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan TS dengan p value 0,000 (pvalue,0,05). Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi panduan mahasiswa secara mandiri untuk mengatasi kecemasannya selama menjalani praktik klinik.
